The one that's a rodent labeled "found cat" - the person who compiled the lists thought it was a rat, but it clearly is not - rats do not look like that! It's hard to tell, but it may be a chinchilla, just not a rat!

When I first met my husband and he was trying to convince me to get a cat (see COTD - May 2, 2001) he told me a story. He had not been married long to his first wife. He wanted a cat and brought one home from the shelter. A big ole yellow cat. His wife was not happy about the cat.

The first day he went to work after getting the cat - he returned home and his wife insisted the cat had "run out the door!"

He posted signs and searched and searched - never finding his cat.

And until we got Edwina - he did not have another cat.

The obvious question was....what did she serve for dinner that night?
