Tina to vet: ear tumor is back!!!

Since we have been fighting fleas, I have neglected the Monday after supper ear check for a few weeks. I had the chance to check ears last evening. I gently put in the q tip in her right ear, and just like last year, it came out with some blood. I got out my otoscope, when I looked in her ear, there was the tumor in the SAME place, like last year. Tina is going to the vet this afternoon. I have the feeling she will lose her ear. We will love her with ONE ear!!! Please say a prayer for Tina. Thank you!!!!

Oh dear. I sure hope all goes well for Ms. Tina. She's a beautiful tuxie girl.

Poor Tina. Tell her I'll be thinking of her - I have two ears, but only one of them "works" so if she has to lose an ear, she and I will have something in common.

Back from the vet. Tina goes in on Thursday for her pre-op bloodwork. Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday. At this point in time, Tina may NOT lose her ear. Dr. A thinks it is NOT cancer, if it was, it would have come back faster than a year....That is good news.... Tina ate her supper and is now lounging in the Grainger box...Thank you for your thoughts and prayers....

Sandra, I'm very sorry I didn't see this earlier! But I'm glad to read it's probably no cancer, and that she may not lose her ear.

Best wished to Tina for her vet appointment!
