    Hibiscus in my garden

Seems all the rain for 9 weeks helped the plants develop LOTS of buds. Now we have sun and heat, and they are blooming up a storm!

This is just 2 of the 5 hibiscus plants in my front yard.

Absolutely gorgeous! I love hibiscus and would have a big bush by my front door if I lived in a hot place.

    How beautiful! Thank you, Sandie.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

    Beautiful!!!

The colour and also the size, quite a big flower!!

Did you know that in Upper africa and the middle east they dry up the flower and make hibiscus tea? In Egypt its called Karkade and they say Sudanese is the best karkade you can get! I tried it and its really good, plus you can chill it in the fridge and drink it like iced tea

I live in a hot place, but don't have room for a hibiscus by my front door

Though have it in the yard

Hmm, I dry my catnip in my microwave, so maybe I can dry some flowers and make a tea. Thanks!
