Lut and Bernard arrived in Copenhagen saturday and we decided to go on a canal tour, as the weather was perfect for it. We had a very pleasant tour. After that, we walked around in the old part of the city and had a drink in Charlie's Bar. We went back to my place for dinner.
On sunday, they came here for lunch and we went for a stroll at the graveyard which is just across the road.
Monday, I had arranged a tour in Tivoli - a friend of mine got us in for free. We started at 11.00 when they opened and had an enjoyable time there. After Tivoli we had lunch at La Galette, a little place in a backyard in the Latin Quarter. John and I used to know the previous owner and they still use the menu cards John designed back then. We also got to say hello to the friendly kitty they have there - I believe Lut got a couple of good pics. After lunch, we strolled around a bit and ended up in Gråbrødre Torv, a quaint little square, where we had a drink. Lut and I both went back to have a good rest, but Bernard still had some energy left, so he went on some more sightseeing. In the evening, I was invited for dinner at their hotel (Grand Hotel).
Fister got a very cool cat tunnel, that he checked out as soon as Lut & Bernard was gone.He was hiding under the bed as expected, but both Lut and Bernard managed to get a few scrithes in... with the help of some shrimps.
They also saw him in "action" down in the yard.
All in all, we had a REALLY good time together!![]()
When Lut and Bernard come back from their cruise, I'm sure they'll share some details and more pictures - here's a few:
