Very sad

Sunday, June 28th will be our final church service at Epiphany Lutheran church. After 68 years the doors are closing. I was baptized in this church in 1949. The good news is that it will stay a church. A baptist congregation is in negotiations to buy it. I'm happy it'll remain a church, but it won't be our church anymore, and that's the part that hurts.

That is sad, David. We'll be thinking of you! I am glad it is still going to be a church, though.

Karen, to be uprooted from a church you've known for 60 years will be a strange experience, however this other church is very good and I think I'll fit in. This other church is also Missouri Synod Lutheran.

Yes it is so sad when a church has to shut its doors.. Well I am glad you have found a new one that you like..
