    Denver the puggy boy

*Sigh* After living longer than expected, my ex-neighbor's adorbale, sweet pug boy, Denver, was sent to the Bridge this past weekend. He was having a breathing problem, as the cancer spread to his tiny lungs and the liver was covered with tumors.
Although he lived with the family, his constant companion was my dear friend Jean, the grandmom. She was with him all day and he followed her around constantly. I feel especially bad for her. I'm sure her perfect health at her age (mid 80's) is due to the fact she had her little buddy to keep her happy with his company. No more clicks on the hardwood floors. She misses him terrible, but knows he's at peace at the Bridge, with my RB Cody watching over him. Denver was the only dog Cody adored. Best buds. I'll miss you forever, little Den-Den.

Karen, I'm so sorry I didn't see this before. Denver was a great little buddy and I always loved him because you loved him so much. Rest in peace, sweet Denver. I hope Jean is doing ok.

I'm so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are going out for all the people grieving his departure to the bridge. He sounds like a great little guy.

Rest In Peace Little Man Play hard at the bridge.

I am so sorry about Denver. I know you loved him too. May he rest
in peace over Rainbow Bridge. Give your friend my condolences at this sad
    time.

A friend told me last tuesday that her dog Lexie (Irish Setter mix) had
passed away peacefully that afternoon. Lexie was my last living link
to Buddy. Lexie was the only dog he accepted to go on walks with him.

Oh no. Karen, I am so glad that this got bumped out. I never saw it until now and my heart sank. I know how much you loved Denver and also Jean. I felt like I knew Denver through your posts. I hope that he and Cody have met up and are racing around like pups at RB.
