    Are you ready for the Preakness?

    Hey there fellow kitties,
    I trust all of you are well and rested up after our trip to Kentucky. I talked to the local Jaguar dealer to see if the eco friendly hybrid Catmobile will be available around May 13 or so. She said it's in the shop for regular maintenance plus they want to check out that issue with the water fountains. It will be ready in plenty of time so I'll contact Pinot about when we should plan to leave.

    Don't worry Cassie, Victoria Day at the Found Cats Hotel is part of the itinerary. Pinot is already going over the maps. We plan to swing by Montreal for Ms. Rg_Girlca's fur posse along the way.

    Time is running short so please contact Pinot or me to stake your spot in the Catmobile! Have any of you heard from our new horse friends?

    Um, there's just one more thing. It seems that our Meowmies think something questionable is going on and we're very secretive about our Catmobile trips when we get home. I saw my Meowmie's message on the other thread and other Meowmies seem to agree that we're up to something. Have any of you seen or heard anything about this? Any idea of what they're thinking? If so, please let us know. We need to keep the upper hand here.

    I told my meowmie that what happens on catmobile trips stays on catmobile trips. She was not pleased with that answer, of course. She is still trying to get answers but I am keeping mum.

    We were just going to post the Victoria Day Plans too, there a huge Wine and Dinner in Niagara on the Lake with 20 different dinners , some meat some vegan, and 20 wines!!!

    Thank You Momcat for giving us a nice plug!!!!

    And Peaches is teaching her husband Ebony Beau Tubster about wine and seafood, and the old Street Cats becoming a Gourmand!!!

    There are some truly wonderful restaurants , with some Pheasant Under Glass, Caribou Steaks and great Salads, something for everyone!!!
    I know that All Our Animal Companions and Angels will just LOVE this Picnic!!!

    Hey kitties!

    I'm so excited everyone's coming here for the Preakness! Our friend Mine That Bird will be racing - and hopefully winning - and there will be others we met at the Derby in the competition for the Woodlawn Vase & the blanket of Black Eyed Susans. We can all come to my house for primping and refreshment stops, the ride to Pimlico is short, and we'll have a slumber party in the basement (it's a furnished basement, don't worry!). Meowmie will have everything prepared. There are all kinds of things leading up to the big race, including hot air balloons, parades, breakfast with the jockeys and owners...so many happenings!

    So, hop on board, kitties, the Catmobile will be on the way shortly and you don't want to miss any of the festivities! The 13th we hit the road! See you soon!

    They haven't checked in yet, but I think Blue's kitty Erp and Moesha's kitty Morgan need to make their first Catmobile trips! Maybe you can talk them into it, Fister!!

    My girls are all ready to go. They are intrigued at the jingling noise coming from Daisy's purse. Apparently her trip to the Kentucky Derby was very profitable, and Sammy and Jessica think they may have a little flutter on Daisy's new horsey friends. I have tried to speak to Daisy to make sure there is no suggestion of race fixing here, but she just looks blank. I am a little concerned.

    Oh Fister, look at you! Your lovely vintage car is going to attract considerable attention. So much nicer than flying to the US.

    It's time to turn your cell phones on and kiss your Meowmies good-bye. The Catmobile is leaving Trenton after a stop at the train station to meet a few of our friends. All water fountains are working, plenty of food, a few great movies, a stock of CD's. We are good to go!!!!!
