so itīs that time for the birdies....

the tiels started laying before I went on my vacation early april.. so those are duds... but they did layed 3 more since early may... actually tuesday 5th they laid the 8th egg and last as they havenīt laid any more...

the budgies are now on 5 eggs... last one laid yesterday monday 11th... adn here I thought tiel eggs were small... haha.. budgie eggs are so tiny i canīt imagine finch/hummingbird ones

Iīm keeping hope for the tiels this is Mauiīs third shot but first with Cotton... her first were all duds.. her second she had two good ones but died in shell.. actually only one was normally formed almost hatchable, the other was mush... Iīm only crossing fingers for the last 3 eggs laid as the rest are way out of date.... they both have mated and I hope it results in some babies... they are fertile as iīve seen.. just need mroe time and see if they hatch adn then grow and feather ...

the budgieīs eggs I have no clue.. havenīt candled them...and canīt.. the nestbox for them is kinda complicated.... but will look forward for some fluffies...

if any hatch even if itīs just one... Iīll be thrilled...

female: light green dilute
male: yellowface type 2 skyblue dilute

expecting 100% dilutes... just like mom.. unless sheīs split for blue or is in fact a yellowface grey dilute thus making her look greenish..

female: cinnamon pied
male: whiteface pied (unknown splits)

100% pieds split whiteface and males also split cinnamon, if any other mutation shows then male is split to it...
