    Need help with an ID.

The shelter I volunteer at has these two pretty girls up for adoption. I am in the process of entering all of the dogs into Petfinder and was wondering what I should label these two as.

    Dog #1:

    Dog #2:

    Thank you for your suggestions!

first one looks shepherd something.. another one with softer facial expressions... what size are they, temperament..etc..

second one.. looks in the face kinda Rottie, Mastiff type..maybe even Boxer.. but also seems short.. and terrier like carrot tail... so maybe JRT..

Both are large, friendly dogs that are full of energy. They are a lot of fun to care for.

I would say the top pic is a shepard & wired hair terrier mix..

I would say the bottom pic is a weenie dog & corgie mix..

This just a guess.. They are both Cute & look Sweet..

Heinz 57, which means, they are a mixed breed with a lot of love and loyalty to give and they just need a good home. Hope they find good homes.

The face on the second dog looks a lot like a dog at my shelter. Teacup is listed as a terrier/french bulldog. But I think your dog is larger than Teacup. She is actually much smaller in person that I thought from looking at her online.
    Here is Teacups petfinder: http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...petid=13405190

And I agree that the first dog definitely has GSD in it. GSD/wire haired terrier sounds close. You can never be 100% sure of the mix. At my shelter I see dogs and what they are listed as and some I think are WAY off, but that's what someone thought so that's what was put down.
The manager of the boutique jokes with people that any time a short legged dog comes in they list it as a Corgi mix. She has two rescue Corgi's.

They are both adorable pups and I hope they find their furrever homes soon.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

the second one looks almost exactly like my pit bull, but this one looks to be short, so my guess would be perhaps a Stafordshire Terrier

    Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

I have decided to label "Dog #1" as simply a Shepherd mix. I talked to the head of the shelter and found out that the guy who surrendered "Dog #2" had called the dog a Bullmastiff mix. I guess I can see that...

Anyway, thanks again! Hopefully these two gals find some good homes.
