Bead Destash...

Since I started making my own glass beads, I've stopped using many other types of beads. I used to do alot of beadweaving and other types of beadwork, but I just don't anymore. I do have a huge stash of beads though! Seems a shame to just keep them in a drawer. So I've opened a second etsy store to destash some of my bead collection. Someone else can give these beads a good home where they will be used and I can buy more glass to make my own beads! More items will be listed in the next few days.

Well that is just way cool! You actually make your own beads out of glass? I really need to get myself into a new hobby and get off of the computer at night. Your jewelry is very pretty.

Thanks. They start out as long rods of glass. I melt the glass with a specialized torch to make the beads; when that's done they go into a kiln to be annealed and cooled properly. Annealing takes the stress out of the glass and makes it stronger.

I'm selling them all for less than I paid. Just want them to go somewhere they'll be used instead of collecting dust at my house! PM me if there is a specific size, shape ect that you use alot. I probably have some! I truly have a ridiculous number of beads!
