    Happy World Rat Day

    So April 4 2009 is the seventh annual World Rat Day. Lots of people get together, shows take place and people just take a day to celebrate these wonderful little goofs. In honour of today I decided to get some rattie pics up for you guys.

    Hooray for rats! Unfortunately I'm working today and I still don't have photobucket working for any new pics. But I did buy my group some treats today. Here's some pics of RB rats in honor of Rat day.

    Rhinovirus: A rescue who spent a few months with me fighting off infection after infection and didn't win the battle


    Patron: A wise old man I had the joy of sharing a year with


    Meshugganah: A social boy who loved being passed around from person to person like a hot potato


    Lowensenf: The biggest rat you've ever met, and all the more to snuggle


    Marli: Another old and unwanted rat who spent her retirement with me


    Black and Blue: Pituitary tumors took them young, but they had good lives

    Everyone's rats look marvelous! Its nice to see so many pretty little rodents in one thread.

    I might as well jump on the bandwagon and share some pictures, too. :-D Here are a few I took yesterday.

    Mason at 2 1/2 years.


    Akio at 3 years.


    Pocky at 3 years.

    Sorry for the girls' pictures being blurry. Eventhough they are in their "senior years" they never ever sit still. You would think that after owning rats for years I would find a way to take better pictures, eh? :-D
