Elderly lady just put into assisted living arrangements... and needless to say, her 2 aged Tortie cats are at home...but she won't be coming back.
Cats are 13 and 14 years young, spayed and declawed, and have been together their whole lives. (They are a mother daughter team).
Family is making plans to sell the house, so the cats must go. If we can find someone to open their hearts and their home to this family of cats...this woman would be so grateful.
Time is running out, and they are talking about euthanizing these cats, and that in itself breaks my heart.
Do you know anyone? have any contacts? or can you post this info anywhere? I have the owners contact number...it must be a good home, and it would be even better if they could PLEASE stay together...

It breaks my heart too; but your just too far away.. However what I dont understand is why dont some of the family members take the cats in?? They seem to always just want to throw away the animals first.. The babies do not understand & lived all of this time just to be dumped or killed.. Its the family that should be responsable to their mother's cats..
