7 urgent dogs in sc

Below is an e-mail I received yesterday (formatting is mine), and attached are pictures of the dogs. I have placed the dogs on Petfinder for these people, but the dogs simply do not look anything like German shepherds, so I cannot take them in (not to mention I don't have any room right now since I'm the only foster home yet!). We need to find loving homes for our dogs, the reason is we are being relocated to Japan for the next 3 years. They are German Shepherd mixes no more than 50lbs....We have exhausted all of our resources attempting to find loving homes for our dogs. The United States Air Force has informed us that we will be unable to take them with us overseas. We need to find homes for our dogs before May 1st, or we will have no choice but to take them to the animal shelter, which we really don't want to do.

If your rescue could help with taking just 1 or 2 we would so grateful. If you are full, could you please direct us in finding help.


Bear, Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix.. 7 yrs old, neutered, big lover, likes to lick a lot, knows how to sit, lay down and shake. Can be food aggressive, was like this when we got him.



Moo Cow, Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix. Born May 22nd, 04. Almost 5 yrs old. Really sweet, and loves to play. Spayed.



Little D, Shepherd mix, Born May 22nd, 04. Really laid back, not really hyper, just a great relaxed dog, sweet, loving. neutered. not food aggressive that I have seen.



Teddy Bear, Chow/Shepherd mix, Born May 22nd, 04. Sweet, funny, can be timid. Loves water and to chase balls, etc. neutered.



Fat Girl, Basenji/Chow mix, Born May 22nd, 04. Sweet, a little hyper when it comes to playing, spayed.



Beau, Shepherd mix, Born May 22nd, 04. Sweet, laid back guy, can be aggressive toward other males. (he was beaten up by a dog I had, which is not here anymore) not neutered.



M.J(michael jackson) Basenji mix, Born May 22nd, 04. not neutered, can be dominate over males, sweet, funny, can be a little hyper at times.

Thank you so much for the help, as I have exhausted all of my resources. All of my dogs are outside, but they used to live inside. So I am not sure if they would still be housetrained. They are up to date on all shots except they will need their rabies next month.

They are all adorable pups. I just love Bear, that's exactly what he looks like.
I'm a little confused though on one thing. All six, besides Bear, were born on May 22nd of 04, yet they are not all listed as the same Shepherd mix. Am I missing something there??

Anyway, I do hope they can find them all homes. That's a big task with 7 dogs. So sad they can't go to Japan with them.
