Cat peeing on my daughters bed

Our cat Skittles is one year old, fixed and declawed. For the past two months she has decided to urinate on our 17 year old daughters bed. Now we can only assume it has something to do with her boyfriend as the only time Skittles does this is after DJ has been there. We have tried the Hartz pet away and that doesnt work she sniffs it and walks right into the room. We tried foil on the floor and she simply walks softer to get to the bed so as not to make the foil make noise. She will even urinate on the bed when they are sitting there watching tv. Any ideas on what we can do other than dump the boyfriend or Skittles?

Please read "Cat urinates on couch and bed" a few threads down. There are also other threads on Cat Behavior that apply to the subject. I will say this, though: declawing can cause behavior problems in cats. Good luck. I know that it can be frustrating.

WOW! that is really interesting that Skittles urinates on the bed when the boyfriend is there or has left. Cats are an excellent judge of character. I would definitely hold on to Skittles....she may be on to something....good luck....

PS: I am not being flip about this...cats can judge a person far better than a human can, we had that happen in our house and the cat was RIGHT about the person not being on the up and up...

Sometimes it's something as simple as a person's cologne offending the cat. I've asked my cat sitter not to wear any when she comes to cat sit for that very reason.
