is this what you were meaning?

this is a quote from the big lebowski, a movie. the quote without the movie context makes it seem as though you're approving of the national socialist tenant of mass murder. it took me a while to recall that movie, is that what you meant?

OT: Is the word "tenet"? Otherwise, from whom is the "tenant" renting and where do they live?

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/tenet

tenet: a principle, belief, or doctrine generally held to be true ; especially : one held in common by members of an organization, movement, or profession

blue... I just heard something on the radio at lunchtime about socialism - I think it was about socialism (tenet) as opposed to Socialism (political party) - could you tell me the difference? I missed the beginning but I think the gist of it was: Government loans huge amounts of money to AIG -> socialism-> bad .

    thanks
