I can help transport these two little beauties so distance is not a
problem.
As always, thank you for your help!

*Rosalie* (*Rosie, Ro*) and *Carmella* (*Bella, Melly
Belly*) are two lovely
adult female cats who've had some tough breaks in life.
They were born to a Philadelphia feral cat colony, but were rescued
by kindly people, who could tell that both girls were friendly enough
to be adopted. They were fostered by a loving caretaker who saw them
blossom from young, undernourished, terrified girls into trusting,
shiny-coated, affectionate goofballs.
Rosie and Carm were adopted back in June 2006, and, despite their
fraidy-cat origins, quickly decided that chillin' on the couch
listening to jazz or watching baseball with their new father was
pretty awesome!
Sadly, their beloved adopter can no longer care for them, and so Rosie and
Carmella, through no fault of their own, are up for adoption again.
Though they didn't know each other until the day they went into foster care,
Rosie and Carmella quickly became best buddies, and they
draw strength from each. Rosie is calm, gentle, dainty, and quicker
to trust new people - and when she does, she is an all-time champion
lap cat!
Carmella lets Rosie suss out people for her and may hang back a bit
at first. But when she comes out of her shell, she is a rambunctious and
sweet girl who likes nothing better than licking your hair into a
new 'do and playing with her toys.
Given all the changes they have been through, we *strongly* prefer
that they be adopted together. They will need a quieter home, and an
adopter who understand that the girls might need to hide out for a
bit until they realize they can trust you. Your reward will be
hearing their funny little chirping meows, watching them play and
sleep curled up together, or having them sit in your lap and gaze at
you adoringly.
Both girls are spayed and FIV and FLV-negative. *Adoption
application & donation required.*
*Rosie and Carmella are seeking a new home*
*Rosie* and *Carmella* are my former foster cats. Their adoptive
parent, with whom they have lived since June 2006, is no longer able
to care for them, and has relinquished them to me.
The problem is, I now live in Western New York.
I am seeking a Philadelphia- area rescue to take in the girls. I can
make a $500 donation.
They are 5 years (Rosie) and 4.5 years old (Carmella), healthy,
spayed females.

Background I fostered Rosie and Carmella after they were trapped as
friendly strays in a trap-neuter- return project at the Walmart on
Delaware Avenue in January 2005. Rosie was 1 year old, and Carmella,
6 months old.
I ended up fostering them for quite a while as they first had to get
used to living with scary people (which they did in a few months
time), and then get over a case of ringworm (which they did - I
cannot emphasize enough that these chicks are ringworm FREE).
It is no surprise that in 1.5 years, I came to love them deeply.
Rosie is one of the all-time great lap cats, who loves to snuggle on
your chest so much that when you stand up, she clings to your chest,
refusing to let go.
Carmella is the more rambunctious of the two, and prone to steal
Rosie's wet food from under her nose. Carmella loves giving you a new
'do by licking your hair!
In June 2006, a gentleman who lives in West Philly adopted them. He
gave the girls the time they needed to adjust to a new home, and
within months, they were in love with their new father, sleeping on
his bed and chillin'
with him on the couch.
But last year he lost his job, then he began to drink too much, and
now he is going to be evicted. He reached out to me, realizing that
he was no longer able to care for the cats he loves dearly, and asked
if I could take them back.
The Current Situation I moved to Buffalo, New York, in July
2006 and cannot
move the girls to my home in Buffalo. Believe me, if I could, I
>> would: I spent 1.5 years of my life taking care of these cats -
>> moving to a new apartment and turning my life upside down to clear
>> their ringworm. The last thing I want is to be in the position I'm
>> in, but . here I am!
>> A neighbor has agreed to take care of the girls through *Easter
>> weekend (April 11/12, 2009). * The Help We Need! *Ideally, I am
>> looking for a rescue to take them and adopt them out to a new home.
>> I can make a $500 donation for your assistance.* I really want them
>> adopted as a pair, though am amenable to splitting them up if the
>> rescue/foster home determines that they do not suffer without each
>> other.
>> I would also be grateful for
>> * A rescue to post them as a "courtesy posting"
>> * Any tips/lead on potential rescues or adopters

>> *Thank you,*
