I've been Neglecting PT :(

I think I've been neglecting pettalk recently, am I right? I've post maybe once in 3 days now and I rarely go on to even browse. I have midterms and it's been really stressful for me because I'm doing bad in Chemistry and I have to study for everything, AND I have my driver's (knowledge/written) test on MONDAY..I'm really nervous about it. I've been good at hiding my stress, I try not to make it obvious, but the weeks nearly over and I CANNOT WAIT! So I went to the shelter today, I thought you guys might want to see some pictures of the animals They are so sweet and made my day even better then it was.

This dog we walked on sunday actually, what a good girl! Her name is Cali..


So today our adventures included:


Tommy and Katie! They were found as strays and they look like siblings too me, Katie is really small and Tommy is pretty big. They are Chi/dachshund mixes. The shelter doesn't know how old they are.

Darla, she's a pitbull terrier/boston terrier mix. That's my best guess, she's absolutely adorable and she's so loving. She's a gem of a dog to find in a shelter.

OH MY GOD look at the vicious pitbull. This is my friend Sarah with her.

It's a kitten! Her name was ONE xD She was adorable.


I truly found the most adorable cat alive today. This is Babe, he's a tabby boy. LOL look at his eyes! I think it makes him SO adorable, I love him so much. He's also very outgoing, nonstop purring, sweet. Great cat, he's also declawed so hopefully he gets adopted QUICKLY!

It's great to hear from you Alyssa. You look great and so do all your shelter buddies. What a cute group. It looks like everybody had fun and benefitted from the companionship. Good luck on your midterms!! I also hated chemistry. I was so bad at it, it was ridiculous. I love all sciences but that one.

I did bond with one. I call him my first love, Corey. The day I met him he was adopted... Which I guess is good but I still miss that boy. I guess it wasn't meant to be. The ones I love are never there long. We just got 21 puppies from down south from a kill shelter, our shelter works closely with an organization who brings pups up to NJ, NY, etc so they are not gassed. I will DEFINITELY be ADOPTING a dog! No breeders for us. My shelter has a great group of dogs so it will be easy to find a dog I love, I'm sure of it. I love all of them, but I haven't "clicked" with just one yet. I know it'll happen. I clicked with a two cats named Peanut and Slinky! They should be adopted soon they are wonderful, I hope they are adopted together they are best friends.

Thanks for the replies! I love Babe, he's such a goof. I think I've kinda clicked with him too, his personality is GREAT!!
