My dog, Snow, does not stop barking. She is very irritating and I love her so much. We scold her is not in need of something, but she still barks. Any training tips? Keep in mind that she is 10.![]()

Is she kept inside or outside?
Has something recently changed for her? like loosing a playmate or a change in her living space?

I asked the same thing a while ago. Dixieland dancer had some great advice. You could read it. The post is http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...hlight=barking
My babies: Josie, Zeke, Kiba, Shadow (AKA Butter)
Has she always done this, or is this a new behavior?
If it is a new behavior and because she is an older dog maybe her hearing &/or eyesight is starting to deteriorate, therefore causing her to be confused or not able to hear herself bark. Maybe a geriatric exam is needed from your vet. Or like posted before has anything changed in her life/routine/diet?
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.
I think you are stuck with a barker. Tango tends to bark a lot, but he will stop when I pick him up and pay extra attention to him. I think he barks when he feels neglected.
