It seems like it was just yesterday when my sister and I found Pepper in a ditch and convinced my parents that she belonged with us. She was not a very attractive looking dog, she was full of fleas, you could barely tell what color she was and it was obvious that she had been hit by a car at some point in her life by the way she always held up her hind leg when she ran. Our persistance paid off and Pepper was allowed to stay. After some vet care we learned that she was just as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside. She spent 10 years with our family, and was there to keep my parents company after my sister and I had grown up and moved out of the house. Pepper will be missed by all of us as she was the best dog any family could hope for. My father burried her next to the cactus garden on their ranch, she used to love to take naps there and watch all the rabbits running around the cactus. God speed Pepper!
