    Photography Advice/Websites?

I know that there are several individuals around here that take wonderful photographs. I love taking pictures but don't really know much more than point and shoot. I do have 2 film SLR cameras, but they are both manual settings only, so needless to say they don't get much use. I've decided to purchase a DSLR and I am almost positive that I'm going to purchase the new Nikon D90. I want to go to a store and hold it first and am hoping that there may be some sales on the before the holiday season arrives. With that being said, I'm wondering if any of you have favorite photography websites that you visit. Any with good lessons or tips would be appreciated. I'm in the process of going through the lessons on Stop Shooting Auto. She puts things in very simple terms that I'm enjoying. I've signed up for a free preview class at Better Photo and am considering paying for one of their online courses. If anyone has experience with either of these, or have ones that they like better, please post them for me.

And if you're into trying small flash off camera lighting to achieve studio effects on the cheap, this is a most EXCELLENT site

If you run into any questions let me know. I've been shooting with a SLR since 1992 and a digital since 2002 (not professionally of course, just serious hobbyist). I'm no expert by any means but people tell me I do a pretty good job breaking things down for them.
