    Willow - teeth

Looks to me like Willow will be the next cat in need of a dental. I noticed the canine upper tooth is swollen at the gums (just like Monte's was), which made me look at the rest of his mouth. Looks like some tarter and I am sure that one tooth (at least) will have to come out.

I already have a vet appointment sceduled for Monday, so I am just going to bring Wllow instead (the other appointment was just for a routine yearly check up...it can wait)

So, maybe I'll get Mickey and Willow done at the same time.

A lot of teeth problems lately.

The dental problems never stop there. Sorry to hear Willow now has problems too. Hope it's not serious.

Scout is getting over an abscess in her upper canine. The gums are still a little red around it but look much better after antibiotics. The vet said if we can get her over it without having to remove the tooth then she recommends a dental for her but said to wait until Feb. when they offer 20% dental cleanings. I love my vet!

Teeth problems are no fun thats for sure. Just be sure to call your vet to let them know about the switch of cats.

Where I work dentals and surgeries are done at different days/times than regular check up appts. If someone were to switch up like that they'd have to reschedule and come back during a time/day we do dentals. Just don't want you to have to make an extra trip.

Good luck with the teeth, hopefully they're not all that bad and they won't have to pull any.

Not to worry, I am only switching the cat who will be getting the checkup. I will have Willow checked out before I schedule his dental work.

Geez, these dental problems never seem to stop for your kitties these days!

Hope Willow will be alright and doesn't need to have his teeth pulled!

    Ah ok.

Sometimes we have clients switch up pets thinking we'll just go ahead and do surgery 'since fido/fluffy is already here'. They don't understand our scheduling system and sometimes get very angry with us that they have to make a second appointment.

Dentals can be such a pain for owners - but they are needed. I hope everyones dentals occur without complications! Good luck guys!
