    LOL!

Traci, honestly I don't know who (D&D or me!) will wind up at the ER first after viewing these pictures. She is absolutely PRECIOUS! I have just realized that I could never be a breeder. I would not be able to let a single one leave! Oh I just can't wait to see her with Chopper! Thank you for posting these!!

Terri, are you OK? I know that when you see this thread it will most likely be the end of you. I am holding onto dear life myself! Hang in there and take a couple of deep breaths.....it will pass!

Oh, she is just precious! I am so hoping your FIL allows your MIL to get Pyper. That would be the ultimate, to be able to watch both of these little girls grow up!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

SOOO cute! Gosh I can't even imagine how tiny a newborn Chi puppy would be to see in person!!! WOW! so tiny!... but so cute!.. how much do they typically weight at birth???

    Good luck with her!...
If you're gonna breed Collies, don't you forget to breed in the brains and common sense. Without that you won't have a Collie, you'll have just another dog.

    She is SO adorable!

And may I add, personally, in my opinion only, and dont get upset, BUT I think she is color wise a better pick for you. She is WAY different than Chopper! I think you will be happier with this choice!

    Thank you so much Michelle!

Ryleigh weighed 3.75 ounces at birth. On Saturday she weighed just a hair under 1 pound a day shy of her 6 weeks birthday. Chopper was 1.5 ounces (but premature). Most babies I have seen are usually somewhere between 3 and 5 ounces, with the occasional one over or under.

Oh wow!.. so some are around 5oz.. thats bigger than I was expecting! LOL My first Collie litter I had a 6oz bitch puppy!.... she was much smaller than her littermates, but strong and I never had to supplement or handfeed her... but I certainly can't imagine that coming out of a Chihuahua LOL wow! My Collie pups are typically 8-10 oz at birth though (obviously I've had some smaller)... with the exception of Kelsey's last litter the smallest was 10oz which was the bitch and all the males were 12oz or slightly more....
