How wonderful that your Dad found you just in the nick of time! Shelter cats are the best; look at the love they return 100 fold to those who take them and see the best in them. I'd be a little cranky, too, if I had been sitting in a cage for a couple of months. You look like a pretty cool cat to me, Everett. It looks like you and your human found each other in the nick of time. Enjoy your much deserved day as COTD.

Hi, adorable Everett! What a handsome tabby boy you are! Good for your dad for taking you out of that scary place, and bringing you to your furrever home to live with him and William. What a happy ending it was for you and them both! You definitely don`t look so bad-tempered, Everett!

I`m sure all it took was someone, like your dad, to take you in and work with you. And it seems like that has done the trick for you. Send some purrs and headbumps to William, as well, for being a good sport and welcoming you to your home! It sounds like you have a wonderful life now, and were saved from what could have been a pretty scary future at the noisy, cold place. Have a wonderful rest of the day, sweetheart!

Hats off to you Everett's Dad for realizing that there is nothing wrong with a little cattitude. All of the animals in shelters have history that they didn't ask for and just need someone to have patience and enough love to provide them with the home they deserve. They have so much to give us and teach us so enjoy many more years to come with your furry family.

Yep, I'd be a regular cranky puss if I were caged up for months too. I'm so glad your dad took a chance on you. Looks like a real win win situation to me: you got a wonderful home and loving family and he got a wonderful forever pal!!!

I know several shelter cats that were ferals and that nobody could approach, until they meet their right human, one day, sometimes after years. And they become best buddies forever

You are very lucky to have found your dad who was kind enough to take you home to meet your new friend and live happily ever after. Your story has made my day, I love to read hearwarming stories especially when they involve a cat who needed a home so much. Hi there handsome, hunky Everett, aka "Bug!" That's one proud Papa talking! Your Dad is truly one of the good guys Everett, and we can't thank him enough for opening up his home and heart to such a deserving kitty! He knows what so many of us have learned over the years, that shelter kitties are the best! And the rewards we humans are blessed with in return for our compassion, priceless! And who can blame you for being a bit cranky every now and then Everett, after all that you went through before your Dad came along! Thankfully your Dad, and William too, realize they have a gem of a friend in you! We're so happy for you sweetheart, that you found your way to such a warm and loving, safe and comfy home; to a human and furbro who will love you forever and unconditionally!
