You Won't Believe What Was In My Place Last Night!!

Well last night I had my mother over for supper and after we finished dinner, I heard a squeak but I just thought it was from the tv set and my Little Man Hermes comes out with this thing in his mouth. I thought it was this toy I have seen but then I realized that this was not a toy it was a MOLE!

So I went ahead and followed Hermes because he was prancing around just proud of himself. I finally got a hold of Hermes and I told him to drop it and I grab Hermes by the scruff and he finally left it go. The mole was still alive but barley. In this craziness Hermes was so excited about his catch that when I grabbed Hermes he scratched my arm and my finger because I was trying to get his kill. So after the mole was lying on my living room floor I picked it up with a cat nip sock that was nearby and tossed it outside.

Sadly the mole didn't make it. Hermes was very pleased with himself and I checked his vet records and he's up-to-date on both of his shots so I'm sure he will fine and all last night he acted fine just excited.

Hermes, you rascal, how did you ever make such a catch? I am glad you shared your treasure with mom, even though she had a tough time persuading you to do so.

I know your arm is sore, but it will heal quickly. Glad all worked out; um, I guess it didn't work out so well for the mole.

LOL, did your cat bring it to you as a present? Mine used to have a cat run that was outdoors with a kitty door to come in as they pleased. We lived out in the country so they'd bring in lizzards the the suicidal birds that dare to enter their run.

Many Congrats Hermes.. So sad for the mole.. I dont think we have moles in Tx.. Havnt seen any..

WELL THAT LITTLE MOLES

ON HIS WAY TO HEAVEN WHERE HE AND ALL HIS MOLE ANGEL FRIENDS WILL BE IN A BIG FIELD , DOING WHAT IT IS THAT MAKES MOLES HAPPIEST.

WE FIND THE ODD MOUSE AROUND HERE AND I THINK THAT MICHAEL THE DREAM BEING A BARN CAT IS TEACHING MIQUELITO THE LITTLE ORANGE LION ALL ABOUT BEING A MOUSER.
