Last night Casey passed away in her sleep. Sadly I watched her last breath. I called the vet and the vet is not there to read the blood test. I am in so much shock at this point. Just one day earlier she was running around the house with so much energy, and then this happened. Casey had the funniest personality and we loved her to death. Originally she was my brother's cat, but she bonded to much with my mom for my brother to take her when he moved out. RIP Casey.

What a beautiful girl...and how sad and a shock that she is gone.

I hope the vet can give you a reason that she passed.

Casey passed in her sleep, watched and loved by you. Thank God she had a caring meowmie and family.

Casey - hope you are sharing space with any other "Diva" kitties at the Bridge (I know, there is only one Casey Diva

). Please visit your mom and let her know you are at peace, healthy again, and that you love her.

Oh I am so sorry to be reading this.. RIP wittle baby.. Thankgoodness you were in your meowmom's arms when the passsing came.. May the RB Angels be taking you up to the Bridge..

Her blood test came back, NEGATIVE. Who knows what happend to my little girl. My vet thinks it could be slug poisen, because that affects the brain and not the blood.

This must feel so horrible to loose your dear pet in such a short time...

. It is good that she was close to you when she passed away; I am sure she felt your love!!

It's a poison to kill slugs - a nasty and slimy garden snail minus a shell. Unfortunately most poison I know of is also toxic to pets. I have them here but can't put out any poison because of my outdoor resident stray kitty. They come out at night and actually get into any dry cat food that might be left in the dish - they love it. So if I let the dogs out at night and they're on the house or porch - I arm myself with a spray bottle of salt water since that will kill them.

I'm so sorry to hear that beautiful Casey has gone to the Rainbow Bridge so suddenly.

I know exactly how you feel, my cat Samantha has gone to join her at the Rainbow Bridge today.
Hopefully they will find each other there, the two black nosed cuties can hang out together.
