He may have cerebellar hypoplasia (CH.) The vet will be able to tell you.

I was thinking of that, too. (Doesn't someone here has a video of a CH kitty posted in the siggy?) But at the age of 3 weeks, it could also be that the muscles of the neck are just not strong enough. I would ask a vet to be on the safe side.

If the baby has CH, and I'd say it's pretty likely, there is NO need to put the baby down. Many vets give a knee-jerk suggestion of PTS, which is regrettable.

If this baby has CH he may turn out to be the most loving of all. Our LB (Little BEAR) is a CH kitty. She is one of the sweetest cats we have. Just keep an eye on him and love him.

If your kitty does have CH, you'll have one of the most lovable cats ever! I have two of them, one admittedly is a very mild case but the other is severe and nothing stops this girl. I hope your vet can get to the bottom of it all; it may not be CH but it does sound like it. And, if it is, there is no need for euthanasia. There is treatment for it and they learn how to cope very quickly and you will, too. Please keep us posted on this. Prayers going up for you and the kitty that all will be well.
    Blessings,
    Mary

You're doing the right thing getting this little guy to the vet. Many prayers are being prayed that your vet finds nothing serious and little guy will enjoy a long, healthy, happy life filled with love. Please let us know what your vet has to say. PT cares!!!!!

PLEASE take him to the vet for a proper diagnosis, and like others have said regardless of diagnosis, euthanization is NOT the only option!!!

That is just one of many problems that could be wrong with your little kitty, the only sure-fire way to know what is wrong is a trip to the vet.

    Good luck!

EDIT: Read he's booked for a vet visit on Monday... keep us updated!!!

Also... odd it says you have 0 posts!
