    Dear Diary - Road Trip - 2008

    Dear Diary,

We had a family road trip last week. Here's what we took the trip in...

At first I was worried whether Curlie knew how to handle that thing!

But he did fine. I was more worried about this driver. Could she reach the pedals???

    We made new friends...

And the trip brought HH and me closer together...

    Your traveling man....

Wow, Eddie, you look like a true travelling trooper. Did you have a good time?
I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)

Where could I get a CatGPS like that for my husband too? I love the grey-and-white colour that it comes in

Thanks for taking us along on part of your trip. Your traveling companions are adorable as always. Love the captions!! My first thought, when looking at the vehicle, was "I guess that gets about 2 MPG." My brain is still reeling from my last trip to the pump I guess!

Eddie, you do look slightly worried there, but of course your dad could handle that huge thing. Did your mom try too?

I think you and Edwina are very good travellers, and it's a joy to see you so close together, even though it's butt to butt. I bet you had a fantastic view too, and it must have been exiting to meet your new friends at the beach.

    Eddie,

It looks like you and the gang had a marvelous road trip - love the wheels. You certainly do look like a dedicated co-pilot and I'm sure Curly more than appreciated your valuable assistance

Your new friends are an interesting lot and I'm happy you were able to enjoy their company. Ii is also great to hear that Ms. Edwina is cozying up to such a resourceful and handsome young man as yourself - good things take awhile sometimes but are well worth it

And it is a certain thing that your mom must be very proud of you Well done sweetie.

    Aren't road trips a blast!
