    Puppy Poo pt. 2

Yay another nasty post from me about my dogs poop. You really don't have to read this lol. Anyway, Nebo still gets a bit of diarhea. It's quite odd. Sometimes it will be pretty runny in the mornings, but by the evening it is regular poop. Some days he really doesn't have it at all. When I went to get his last shots and he had an eye infection, I told the vet about it. He didn't say much about it. I thought maybe part of it could be too many varieties of treats. So I haven't been giving him as many, and I only give him 2 kinds (puppy cookies and bacon treats because he'll work much better for bacon!) I'm not sure how much it has really helped, some I think. The type of food he is on is Pedigree Puppy Food...do you think he could have allergies with that? I don't really want to switch him, because it got really bad the first time I switched...which was gradual mind you. I know Anna mentioned Giardia awhile ago...haven't had him tested for that. What are all the symptoms?

Oh, and he is acting completely normal besides that. Eats/drinks like a pig, runs, plays, sleeps.......he's total puppy.

Amy, the only signs of that were the "runny poo"!

When we first got Roxey she was on Science diet, it gave her the runs, and so did the pedigree. You might have to change his food to something else. Angus had that problem when he was young too, and the food I found to be best was Eukanuba puppy. It seemed to clear it up in no time. I know it's expensive, but you don't have to feed them as much of it (doesn't expand in their stomach like pedigree-I've tested it myself!) so it evens itself out. Hope this helps some. Poor Nebo, must be the pits having the runs (even if it's not all the time!)

    Sheba, ROcky and pepper wishing
poor Nebo's tummy feels better soon.

Might want to ask you vet via phone about
the constant runny poop "only in the morning"
    before changing his food again.
I was wondering if Nebo might
possibly be getting into something that irratates his tummy.
Rocky, as a pup would get a slimmy poop when he nibbled
on certain plants/berries in the back yard as a pup.
I could never figure out which plants either.
