First of all, I see nothing wrong with Diamond. We fed it for years, and did fine. It's actually a pretty good food for a low price, if you are on a budget.
However, since the formula is changing, I can see the concern. But I'd still give it a chance, and see what happens.
But I also do not like Bil-Jac much. They use inferior quality ingredients, IMHO, and the fact that they use corn and soy in a lot if their formulations bothers me.
I do, however, like Fromm, if you can find it. The Four-Star line is the best, but not very cheap. Their regular stuff isn't too bad, either.
We are currently feeding American Natural Premium
www.americannaturalpremium.com. It's actually a contract food by Fromm, and is a fantastic food, ant a VERY good price.
But I'd also look at Innova, Eagle Pack, California Natural, Solid Gold (though it is sold in Petco now, so time will tell what that does to the quality).
