We had a BBQ at my sisters!! I love her horses!!

Yesterday we were invited for a BBQ by my sister & her hubby! We had funny talking about lots of all kinds of things, while eating till I was forced to open the botton of my jeans .

Then we went to the paddocks where their 4 horses are. OMG, they are all sooooo beautiful!! My BIL is very close to them, and is visible on the pics I took!

LOL!! The one on the left is a yummie rice flan, and the other one is a "frangipane pie". I found this explanation for you on the internet

what is a frangipane?
At its simplest, a frangipane is a small tart or cake with a filling made from almonds. At its most wonderfully complex, a frangipane is a fragrant pastry creation with a filling flavoured with ground nuts. Our frangipane is made only with fresh, natural whole nuts - almond, hazelnut and pistachio - toasted and then finely ground. They are mixed with fresh cultured Swiss style butter, eggs, sugar and flour and natural flavours such as pure bourbon vanilla and freshly zested citrus fruits to create a filling that pays homage to the finest traditions of baking.
