How sad is that, wow! He gets retired, and then they'll euthanize him?! What the heck kind of "thanks for your years of service in the military" is that?!![]()

We do not know that the dog would be euthanized, that is just one person's speculation.

Because his handler is not able to adopt him,
he will most likely be euthanized immediately upon retirement.
I took this as basically what will happen.
Most likely because of this little issue?

Can you imagine the free for all a lawyer would have with that if he, for whatever reason, attacked someone?

I'm sure the military have trained people for explosives detection and attacking as well, and they don't euthanize them when they retire, do they??![]()
Most of the time when a dog retires the handler takes them. Its very odd for the handler not to be able to do so.
