This morning at work, someone came in the office and told me there was a kitty outside by our handicap ramp and it appeared to have a broken back. I went outside and sure enough this baby, who looked to be about 4 to 5 months old, was dragging it back legs. I immediately lined a box and got the baby inside. Gave it a small drink as it appeared and little dehydrated and called a friend to see if she could take it to her vet since Mondays are really hard days for me at work. I cried to and from meeting my friend. It turns out this sweet baby was a girl and she had been shot with a BB. The BB had punctured the spinal cord and she was paralyzed. The decision was made to allow her to go to the rainbow bridge. God only knows how that kitty ended up at my office. You would have to see to know how this defies the odds. I guess God knew this baby would be taken care and for that he blessed me, but my heart still is broken and the tears are still coming. What scares me more is where I work and the idea that someone shot this kitty. Please say a few prayer for this sweet baby.
Please add a few prayers for the 4 kittens, tied up in a potato sack, and thrown out of car onto a busy road. Only one survived, and is the care of the woman who saw it happen.
People who shoot, people who throw out these precious babies..........I guess we need to pray for a conversion of their hearts.
