I really HATE!! this time schedule we've got now! I am missing out on all the sunrises because I get off work too late. Here's a few pics I took the other morning after work. The spanish moss in the trees is very common but very beautiful.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Very pretty. Unfortunately I have been seeing the sunrise lately because I can't make myself go to bed until 5 or 6 in the morning. Very bad habit which I need to break.

I like Spanish moss now but, when I first moved to S. Carolina years ago, I had never heard of it and was freaked out by it. I thought that all the trees were dying until someone wised me up. (I was only 19, so I was pretty dumb.)![]()

That first tree is quite stunning, Val! And the other 2 photos show the mist rising off the water, great that the camera captured that effect.
The first time I went to FL and saw the moss I thought it was creepy, like in a horror movie or some such. After a few days I adapted and really liked the effect.

Nice pictures, Val, although I can't really get into the Spanish Moss thing. I really like the ones with the mist coming off the water.

Very pretty pictures! What a still, peaceful scene.
Beautiful shots, Val. The Spanish moss brings in good money. People down here pull it and sell it to florists. It has to be treated before they use it. Typically, it's full of chiggers. It will eventually kill the trees it's on too. I have a friend that visits that takes boxes of it back home to Michigan to use in the floral business she has. It's pretty expensive at the floral and craft stores.
I've been Boo'd...
Thanks Barry!
