A Meowy Reunion at the Rainbow Bridge tonight

A very nice woman we knew for many years died tonight, after a long battle with a rare form of breast cancer. Why I am posting this here is for two reasons. Anne was a great friend to cats, and cared for very many over her lifetime. Surely those who have passed before her with give her a joyful greeting at The Rainbow Bridge tonight.

The second reason is to say that, if you smoke, please quit today. Anne was a smoker for a long time. Smoking has been proved to increase your chances for many kinds of cancer, including breast cancer. Please stop, in her memory. She stopped, but it was after her initial diagnosis, and was too late.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's passing Karen and will think about you a lot today. This has been a sad time for you and Paul and I hope you find some peace in knowing that Anne will have the best "homecoming" with all her kitty friends to greet her along with a certain precious little Bunny whom we all adore. May she rest in peace.

    Hugs to you and Paul

I'm so sorry, Karen and Paul.

There must be something to the name Anne. My good friend and mentor is also named Anne. She too is an older woman who has spent most of her life rescuing cats.

My deepest sympathy to you, Karen and Paul, and all who love your dear friend Anne.

Many warm welcomes at the Rainbow Bridge, I'm sure.

Oh goodness, Karen, I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend. I know we all would have loved her if she was a cat lover.
