    Old Unused Cell Phones

I have some old phones. None are activated and all were functioning when I stopped using them. The area women's shelter (for abused women) takes them in and gets them working for their people.

What do I need to do about privacy? Do I remove the SIM card? Do I delete stuff? If so what?

    Thanks!

The woman's shelter/police department should take care of that.

Call up the Customer Service folks for your cellular carrier ...
Ask them if they will clear out the memories of the phones you're donating.

I don't think they have any control of what is on your sim card.
don't breed or buy while shelter dogs die....

just take sim card out.... erase everything else on memory... and you can set it up back to how it was on the first place... I can´t recall the name of the option but it is something like restore or the like

I think you can find an option under the menu for "Restore Defaults". That should take them back to the way they were before you put any of your info in them.

There should be a feature on your phone to wipe it clean.

And yeah, for extra security you can just remove your SIM card
