Coco's First Vet Visit - Today (update post #4)

I have him signed up for pet insurance but today's visit wont appy to the insurance. He's coverage will start in 2 weeks.
Coco needs the "once over" look by a vet

I was thinking about asking do they give doggie sleep aids, mommy could use more than 3 hrs a sleep at any given time a night LOL

I hope everything goes well with the vet visit today.

Oh, I remember the puppyhood days. I do not have children and I kept telling Bruce - this is what it would be like to have a baby. But don't worry, it does get better. You WILL eventually get to sleep through the night. Unless you are a light sleeper like myself. Zoee and Taz wake me up about 3 times a night.

And those puppy days are the BEST!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

He got his first series of shots.
In awhile, I'll give him the dewormer. Vet said his stomach was big
Everyone in office loved him of course. They were surprised to see a dog and not another cat.

Aw, I hope Coco's wormies go away without any problems. I'm sure the little rascal will be fine.

Yup, being a puppy mom is hard work. I don't envy you, yet I miss it. I'm so thankful I was lucky with (RB) Cody after about 4 days. If I remember correctly, he hd no choice but to conk out, 'cause we kept him active all day. Probably prayed for peace and quiet!

I put a wind up clock, wrapped in a towel next to his crate, on the outside. I think the ticking helped.

Sounds like you're doing a terrific job! And since you're not sleeping...well.....get out the camera!!!!!

    K9Karen,
I got sleep last night!!!!!!!!! Bless Coco's heart (and lots of playing earlier). We went 4 hrs before getting up. Hubby was up getting ready for work, so once he was settled he took over and Coco was entertained. I got re-awaken at 7:30 a.m.
Today was last day for teachers so hubby wont be up between the 4-5 a.m. times, so maybe Coco will sleep longer before getting up for the first time since being put down for the night.
    Yep, I know I'm dreaming

Glad his check up went well.

Friends of mine had similar problems with their JRT - nothing seemed to get her to sleep until someone suggested they filled her basket with stuffies about the same size as her. Apparently she snuggled up with them all and has been a good girl ever since.
