Thanking the Monkey

Great title, huh? This book just came out yesterday, and I bought a copy tonight. It's by Karen Dawn (she's on Myspace, with a page for her book), and it's complete title is Thanking the Monkey: Rethinking the Way We Treat Animals. I haven't gotten far, but it's interesting so far. Very cool, "for the commited and the curious," as one review states.

Check it out, I'll let you know what I think when I'm finished! It's a big book, so it may take me awhile.
