    Off the the vet again....

So today I take in Tibby for her deworming. In one week she has gone to the vet 3 times. Last Thurs she went for shots and a check up, then she went Monday to get her stitches taken out, and then again today for deworming. I'm happy that on Monday the vet didn't charge me to get her stitches removed even though that wasn't even where she got fixed. The lady at the shelter uses non dissolving stitches so that way you have to take the cat in to the vet for a checkup and while you're there hopefully for the rest of the shots too.

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

Edwina was spayed by the shelter -- with non-disolving stitches. So we took her to the local vet to get her follow up shots, physical, and her stitches out. She was not well behaved and that is a MAJOR understatement. She fought, she screamed, she swore, she cussed, she kicked, she bit, she scratched.

With great relief we got her back home and went out to do a few more Saturday errands. When we returned home I put her on my lap for some reassurance cuddling -- in all the excitement the vet forgot to take her stitches out. Poor baby. Back to the vet we went!

Needless to say...the vet didn't charge us to take the stitches out either!

The vet visit went well, hopefully we won't be going back again for awhile. They gave her a dewormer shot and a pill for me to giver her in three weeks. The vet and the vet techs said they are going to miss seeing Tibby, they all love her.

glad to hear than Tibby is doing well! I know, believe me I KNOW how it is to have to keep taking cats to the vet! mine were regular visitors for quite a while, one or another of them. but I think that is over(oops.. knock on wood!)

    Edwina?
that sweet baby did all those things? I'm shocked!
