    Babies are here!! (update post #16)

    When I went to Chicago last weekend with my sister, she picked up a pregnant foster from the cat rescue. Xrays showed she was ready to pop any time this week. She had 6 babies on Friday. Two black and white, two grey and white, and two grey. All seem healthy. She sent me a few pics. I had to resize them so they aren't very clear.

    Could you please ask your sister to keep sending updates on these precious babies.
    Will do, though she doesn't call as often as I wih she would. She wants to keep that mostly white on with the grey head.

    Aww, they're adorable! Seems your sister got the mom just in time - I'm so happy that all babies are well, hopefully they'll find loving homes in 2-3 months time.

    Oh they are so cute! There is just something about baby kittens - they are so fun to have around and so easy to get attached to!

    The kittens were doing so well and had open their eyes this past weekend. The mostly white kiten passed last night. Today the kittens were diagnosed with distemper. They got some sort of medicine, but two seem real bad. I guess the mother hadn't gotten vaccinated since she had only recently been rescued and she was pregnant. RIP little kitty.

    Awwwww.....RIP wittle kitty! Distemper is such a horrible thing. When I fostered my kittens, the Whole Shelter had a Distemper outbreak, it wass uch a sad thing for all the kitties that didnt make it.

    I'm so sorry to hear this. RIP sweet baby kitten. I hope that the other kittens will be able to survive this horrible disease. I'll keep them in my thoughts and prayers.
