Dad hadda ruff nite last nite ...

Started off kinda simple - "HEY - wanna go mail a letter?"
*YIPP* *YAPP*!
4:29:45 pm we arrive at the PO - and see da Postal Lady lockin da door!
And she don't stop lockin up fur NUNbuddie - even iffin ya got da stampz stuck on already!

That gives us zaktly 15 minnits to drive the 20 minnit trip to the Next PO -
they take mail outta da lobby box till 4:45 pm. We're off to da races!
Made it wiffa minnit ta spare! ... OK, whut'z next?

HEY DAD! Kinda warm out- let'z go check da LAKE! Oooooh-Kay!
Lake Milton Boat Launch hadda buncha smellie stuff inna wadder anna kuppla boaters trying
ta remember how ta get da Boat inna wadder an NOT da car ... not a purdy site!
Dad wuz afraid he'd *laff*, se we checked da Marina docks. NUTZ!
Buncha fisher folks throwin hooks inna wadder ... they don't 'preciate Dawgs!

Tried da new boat ramp - nunbuddie there 'cept a kuppla Older Folks phishin off da west seement dock.
Dad figgered we wuz jest *lookin* - se we all sashayed out onna east dock.
Smoke made like he wuz gonna dive in, but Dad hollered "NO! There's *gunk* inna wadder!"

Dunno what happened - StumbleBum mitta tripped over his own feet, nunbuddie *pushed* him -
but quick azza blink **Ka-SPLOOSH** anna durty wadder wuz flyin!
And since we'z klipped onna Y-Thingie ... MY feets are slidin over da edge an
**Ker-SPLASH** and we'z BOFF inna durty wadder! Uhhhh-OOOOOh! :

Dad wuz spittin durty wadder an *mumblin* NawTee wurds - then looked ober
an saw da Older Lady *lookin* ... so he jest "encouraged us" to get our lil butts OUT, RITE NOW!
YUUUUCK!! We were a nastee site!

We didda few "cleansing rinses" the full length of the clean side of da dock till Dad wuz satisfied
mosta da Yuuck & Stink was warshed off ...then we headed fur home.
Guess we'll call that da Furst Swim uv da new seezon!

HEY, You Two! --- Stay OFFA My BED! You're both still *DRIPPIN*!
NUTZ!

Wow, what a disaster that started with just a trip to mail a letter! Don't you just love it when they go straight from the bathroom to your bed? It's just like they are trying to get even.

We've seen a few ants in our bathrooms too - usually we have a problem in the kitchen. I could do without ants either place, thank you very much!

Well, Cinder and Smoke, your summer is off to a good start in the adventure area. Will be watching for more threads on your antics.

One nice thing about having a canister vacuum..I've used it many a time to suck up ants. Not saying I don't use other means as well, but when they bring in the troops, it's my first line of defense. At least you didn't have to pick ants out of the snout fur of someone's nose. That's fun.
