After the Groomer; Modelling too! *pic heavy

So over the past week, 3 of the pups went to the groomer, and one had a bath here. (Marlin saw the groomer 2 weeks ago, so he just needed a clean up.) I can only do the trims for so long and then they need a professional touch. The last time I did them myself, I discovered my clipper blade was dull. So I went at them with the scissors! No one got hurt, but the results were NOT pretty. Ever seen a bichon coat with hills and valleys? Well, you won't see it now either, as I did not take pics of my mistakes. He he hee.

Here is Marlin in the bath, and afterwards, outside:

You will notice we have NO snow on the ground!

    Marlin Darlin', my handsome boy!

This time of year, I asked the groomer to take them right down short.
    Sugar:

I like this shot as you can see she really DOES have a neck, he hee.

    More coming, next post!

    Here is Lacey:

And remember my little snowball? Ozzy got the shortie short trim as well!

He just will NOT stay still and won't look a the camera, so it is hard to get photos of him.

A few modeling shots coming up next.

Some of these aren't very good, but it has been almost a week since I opened my gift box from the swap, so they HAD to model NOW! As you will see, they were reluctant models this evening.

First Lacey tried on the 'mink' collar.

Next she tried on the frills.

And finally, the adorable robe they got form Puttin on the Glitz

It has some nice 'gems' on the rear neck line

Suddenly, she decided to cooperate for a shot or two!

Some models in the next post!

    Sugar in the 'mink"

Being a DIVA, that was much more to her liking than the frills:

The robe fits her as well!

But she just was NOT in the mood; enough with the flashy box!

    Showing off her 'gems'

Ozzy also tried the 'mink,' as he looks a bit like a Russian in it! (as usual, he will NOT look at the camera; ya just get used to weird angles with him. )

Hey, wait a minute, this doesn't look like a bichon returned from the groomer!

Sparkle just HAD to give it a try, he hee.

    Hope you enjoyed.

LOVE IT! They all look great ( I much prefer the shorter haircuts with froofy dogs ) They are so white too

The kitty looks down right miserable in that collar

I think that pink outfit looks perfect! Glad it fits

    Thank you so much Michelle!

Freedom and Sugar, this photo makes my eyes all leaky (in a good way)! You all look so nice and pretty after your trip to the groomer! And Sparkle, way to slip into the photo shoot

Great pictures!! I have to say, my favorite pic is the second one of Lacey.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Awwww!! I love the one of Marlin Darlin' getting his bath. Everyone looks so pretty and clean. After mine have their baths I love to bury my nose in their fur. Sugar looks so happy in your dad's arms. What a sweet picture. Everyone is just adorable. Thanks for sharing.
