    Have You Decided Yet?

Normally I would have picked a candidate to support in the upcoming
presidential election but, not this time.I just have not been able to decide.

There are so many pressing issues in our country that need to be addressed
and the sooner the better but, I can't seem to decide which way to go.
Have you made up your mind yet?

No, I haven't decided yet either. I keep waiting for someone to say something based on reality and a definite, specific plan. So far, it's all generalities, hopes, dreams and promises. Promises, that don't seem based in reality.

I wish I could believe those promises, but I've heard them before and I've seen die time and time again after the person gets elected and finds that they cannot force them through the system.

Did I write that? Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I don't think at this point they do get into specifics of how they are going to enact their plans, that partially has to be approved by the party in June. But, it was funny when I saw your post, you took the words right out of my mouth.

Liz I am surprised that no one has started a thread like this until now. Given the two Democratic choices I find myself leaning toward Obama. McCain scares me a little actually. I too would like to hear more on the plans they all have so I will continue to listen to all of the debates and then decide.

Yup, I've made up my mind.

Since McCain is too old, and Romney is just plain dumber than a bag of hair. Then there's Huckabee, yeah right.

That leaves two choices, Obama and Clinton. And since there has NEVER been a woman president, and all the MEN that have run this country have run it into the ground, I say...

    CLINTON!!! CLINTON!!!! CLINTON!!!

Let's face it, women know how to balance budgets (they do it in their everyday life), stretch a buck, keep the peace, etc. Women can do without in order for their families to have what they need. Need I say more??

Oh, and the "hormonal" thing, isn't an issue, so don't bother.

    Just my opinion.

Actually most of my family voted for Ron Paul in the primary! I couldn't because I registered as a Dem years ago, but I really like what the man has to say! I'd like to see him run as an Independent!

Nope, I haven't yet, because it's like choosing between Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy! However like Moosmom I'm leaning toward Ms. Clinton. I was wondering, if she were elected, would that make Bill Clinton "first gentleman??"

I think I have but really, it's a crapshoot. I don't really believe what any of the politicians say any more.

I like Obama for that most unscientific of reasons: gut feeling. It's as good a parameter to pick someone for public office as any other, in this day and age.

I think he has a better-than-average shot at depolarizing Congress (again, just a gut feeling.) Depolarizing Congress is critical no matter who warms the Oval Office chair.
