    TOLEDO, Ohio -- A Toledo man was sentenced Monday to life in prison for raping a 7-year-old girl he babysat.

    Kevin Ware had entered an Alford plea to three counts of rape Monday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. In an Alford plea, a defendant acknowledges there is enough evidence for a conviction but does not admit guilt.

    Prosecutors said the 29-year-old Ware molested the girl for two years, when she was between the ages of 5 and 7. Police said he also had sex with his mother in front of the child.
    Ware's mother, 55-year-old Terry Walker, was sentenced to four years in prison in August.

    She pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery for having a long-term sexual relationship with her son.


    Not only did this 29 year old man rape a child... he also had "a long-term sexual relationship" with his own MOTHER!!!!

    That's SICK!!!! How could anyone do that?! . That poor little girl. This will probably scar her for the rest of her life.

    Poor little girl and if I am honest I feel sorry for the man who raped her too. If he could have an ongoing sexual relationship with his own mother, he was probably a victim when he was a child too.

    The Prosecutors should not accept the plea. It he's guilty, he's guilty.
    They should still prosecute & prove it if neccesary.

    Yes, the guy was also abused but that explains his actions and does
    not excuse them. IMO
