Roscoe - Black GSD painting WIP

This is painted from a dog that belongs to my sifu (Wing chun teacher)
In the ref photo, there was a nasty ugly building in the background so I took that out and put a nicer BG in using a ref photo I took at Hope valley at a show last year.

The painting is done so here are all the updates and the final piece.

    Background first

    Start on Roscoe

Now the grass he was in..

    Final piece.

    Hope you enjoyed..

    Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

I have to decide what breed to portray next from the few ref photos I have available. I really need to do more photoshoots but it's finding willing owners of purebred dogs and arranging a time when we're both free and it isn't chucking it down with rain.
