Cookie Baking and Christmas with the Grandkids

Things have been so busy I have not had time to upload and post pictures of our Christmas with Jasmine and Dominic living here. So to begin here are pictures of Jasmine helping me bake the cut-out cookies this year.

    Santa Claus comes!

Wow, what a neat bow - this is a great toy!

No, Dominic, bows aren't toys, they are hair decorations.

Read me my new book, Paw, Paw.

Most of the dogs were in crates as Santa sort of overdid it. Dakota definitel got kicked out - she is just too big to be in the same room with all those gifts and the kids. But since we don't have crates for everyone - here is Dazzi trying to get in the middle of things.

    Look at me Paw, Paw!

Well, is it for riding then pawpaw?

Wow, what a big truck, paw,paw

Yor are right Pawpaw, it is easier to climb on out of the box!

Hee hee - thanks for sharing the pictures with us!

In my family, everyone's first hand-on cooking experience was gingerbread cookies at Christmas time when each of us was four years old. My Mom had a huge bowl, big and sturdy enough so that not much flour would spill out, and there's not much harm that can be done to gingerbread dough by over-stirring!
