    Normality...:

Is it normal for a Puppy to wear you out so much... I have a Beagle, her name is Mollie and she runs straight for about an hour and then I take a break and she's still piped up with energy... although I found a good way to wear her out without my breath being so fast! I found an old scooter and I ride around on it and she chases me! The only problem is after about my second way around she jumps off into the flower bed!

Sounds like you have your hands full!! We need a picture of little Mollie. I can't offer any suggestions because ours run themselves ragged by chasing each other around the yard and then flopping down in the dust and getting all dirty! lol

Maybe you could get Mollie a little doggy friend to play with?

What I do with Chewy (our 4 month old puppy) is put treats in my hand and show him i have them and then jog around he will chase me till the end of the earth and back if he hadto to just get some of those treats. after a little he becomes tierd and I'm usually the one saying o come on lets play some more. LOL. Since it is so hot neither of us have any energry so we spend lazy days dog figthing on the couch, not real dog fighintg, just me and him no other dogs are in this and no one is harmed expet me, hey he can bit hard!

What I have personally found is something called Bikerdog. It hooks to the frame of your bike and you can take you dog biking! It's loads of fun, for you and expecailly them! Roxey (she's a husky and has lots of energy too!) usually pulls me for at least a mile before she even begins to slow down! Doing this a couple times a day may be just what you need to calm your little Mollie down!
Here's a pic of Roxey hooked to her bikerdog

    and another

she was getting a little pooped, can you tell?!

I have been there. Pups are little balls of energy, sounds like yours has a double dose though. Have fun, you'll miss it when he mellows out.

Hey Anna, I have seen those advertised. Does Roxey appear to like it? She looks content in the photo.

Nebo can easily wear me out, lol. So I can get him to go to sleep at night, I take him over to the church grass and just run with him! He's a husky--of course he LOVES to run! If I don't do that, he'll never go to sleep.

Anna, I'd like to try that with Nebo when he gets bigger. It looks like fun! I'm afraid he'd pull me right over though, lol!

With Sadie may I hook a harness up to her ad she "pulls" me on roller blades. It wears her and me out and we both come back and take an hour nap before we retun to her owners house. It is alot of fun and she knows what wanna go roller baldeing means.

Does your dog like to chase tennis balls? My neighbor has a yellow lab and she "serves" tennis balls into their back yard for the dog to chase. The dog loves it and it saves my neighbor's energy.

YEP, SOUNDS LIKE A PUPPY TO ME!!

DEISEL WHICH IS 1 1/2 YRS OLD NOW AND STILL HAS NO END OF ENERGY....STILL THE SAME AMOUNT OF ENERGY SINCE HE WAS A BABY PUP. I WALK HIM 2 TIMES A DAY AND STILL DOESN'T HELP!!

Puppies, teen dogs, adult dogs, hey they all have the same energy level at different ages. The key to this is the happiness they find in being with their owners.

From Chris who has 2 five year olds with endless energy (Still).
