    Sounds like I'm getting the money for my broken camera back!!

    Just got an email from amazon. They said my camera can't be fixed, and they will refund the full purchase price; 325 Euro. From this amount, I can buy a new camera. The Canon Powershot S2 (the one I had) is no longer avaible, but the S3 is now down to 350 Euro at amazon, so that would be a great option.

    Please keep your fingers crossed that I will soon get my money back, so that I'm able to get the new cam! I miss taking photos of my girls!

    Wow, that is great that they will refund it for you! The S3 is a really nice camera, I know someone with it, and not to mention I know alot of pettalkers have it!

    Got an email this morning from amazon that they have transfered the money to my account... and when I looked for the S3 at amazon, I found that even the S5 is down to 348 Euro today, so I ordered that one. It has 12 Megapixel and is said to be much better than the S2 and S3.

    Now I can't wait to get my new cam!!

    I have always found Amazon to have very prompt and good customer service.
    It's true, I was really surprised how quickly they responded. An ex-co-worker of mine sent his broken camera to another warehousing company, and it took months before he heard from them. I was expecting something like that, too, and I'm very pleased about the way amazon handled this - very uncomplicated and fast.
