The girls helped meowmie building a table (pics)

I designed and built a little table for my kitchen, and I'm really happy with the result, but I had two wonderful helpers. Lily helped me putting the pieces together, and Luna chose the screws and angles; and she made the final inspection also:

Meanwhile, I finished the table, and I gave it a coat of teakwood coloured paint. It's currently drying in the kitchen behind closed doors; I don't want the cats to inhale the scent of the fresh paint.

    Thanks!

Well, I couldn't find one that was fitting, and I also wanted to save some money. And when I got some Christmas money left, I decided to buy the materials from it and do it myself!

It was fun, but I wish I had a real work bench, that would have made it much easier.

Quite handy and ingenious, aren't you? Wow, great job! Do I see carpentry in your future?

    Love your helpers, too.

Great table, wonderful job. I love the kitty checking the basket's fit on the shelf. "This is where my fresh catnip will go!"

Good job and I'm sure all the help only made it better!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Thanks! Well, the table is in its place now, and I'm really happy with the result. It's the first time I did such a thing, so I had no idea if it would work. Of course I know that it wouldn't have turned out so well without the help of the girls!

You are now qualified to build a home!

    Great work!

Although, I am not impressed with your ability.

You have always had the gift of carpentry hidden somewhere in your being. You just needed an empty space, two apprentices and a screwdriver to make it apparent.
