Nice tree, but I have to admit that my first thought was "You can tell they are not cat owners!" After all climb halfway up that tree (knocking off ornaments as you go) and you might be able to make a leap to the mantle, and knock everything off of that, too!

Beautiful tree Barry. Please tell your mom she did a great job decorating! I can't wait to get mine up.

That was my exact thought! We can't put up a Christmas tree due to the cats.... one year, Jake got STUCK in the tree, and was hanging by his leg. That tree was destroyed, needless to stay.

Lovely tree, Barry. Tell your mom she did a wonderful job decorating!

Yep, due to my cats we no longer have a tree either. I agree with you that the leap to the mantle would be a lot of fun for a kitty if they could pull it off!

Barry, your mom has gotten me into the spirit. I have been moaning and groaning that Thanksgiving is coming up too fast (since I am cooking it this year) but now I am looking past that to Christmas. Your home always looks so cozy.

It is beautiful, Barry!!!!!!! Tell your mom I am very impressed with her attention to detail. Hope Fritz won't lift his leg on the tree the way our Zipper did one year!

Cats get a bad rap, but Butter and our RB Mimi always loved being under the tree, not in it, thank goodness! Some of my fondest memories of Mimi will always be that she chose the tree skirt as her favorite sleeping spot for 17 years while she was with us.

I hope that your family will have a joyous Christmas this year.
