    The Diva and the Tomboy

Sugar and Lacey are both female bichons, weighing within 4 ounces of each other. Right after they have had a bath and a trim, it can be difficult to tell them apart. But the personalities are OH! SO different!

Sugar is the Diva. Can't go out in the rain to do her "business," we have to carry her out or she won't go. Always looking for her comforts.

A chin rest is a MUST HAVE! We often see her doing "construction" with her blankies to get them situated properly. Here is one pet bed which accomodates her chin:

She LOVES to have her photo taken!

    More, next post.

Lacey is the TOMBOY. OMG, the things she finds to get into! And as I give them baths myself, this one gets a bath a LOT!

This is how she came in from the backyard one day. We haven't a CLUE what she got into. We don't have a charcoal grill, or a fireplace out there.

She loves to sit in the veggie garden, and roll in the manure if she can. (The fence around it came down so Dad could put it to bed for the winter.)

Leaves, twigs, brush and burrs seem to gravitate to her coat.

And she has decided that cat perches work quite well for her, too!

No, I did NOT put her in there. She climbs in from the loveseat and settles down.

    More coming.

    A "clean" moment (relatively speaking!)

Dainty doggie sitting next to a flower? It's Sugar. You won't catch the tomboy in this situation!

    Hope you enjoyed!

    Beautiful girls.

Lacey you need to explain to mummy that when you go out there the birds and bugs throw dirt on you, you dont intend to get dirty it just happens.

Sugar is sensible, she realises that dirt mean a bath

They're both so cute, Sandie. Each with completely different personalities. They must be a pleasure to have around

    Gotta love those bichons.....

Sugar, you must tell mama that there has to be one diva in every house.

And Lacey, you can tell mama that you don't mean to do it but the joy of the moment overcomes you and you must give into it!

Do your fluffy butts do the "bichon blitz"?

Thanks, all. Yes, Robin, all 4 of them do the bichon blitz! I've had the 2 girls running around in the back yard at the same time, it is too funny. Mostly, just one of the 4 gets the urge to blitz and the others get bowled over, he he. Sometime I'll lhave the camera set to video when it happens. Usually I am too busy enjoying it myself!

Ginger's mom, one reason I ended up with TWELVE pets in the house is that I get such pelasure out of the interactions of all the different personalities!

Despite such different personalities, they are both equally adorable! The pictures of Lacey in the cat tree are just too precious. :]

Sugar looks like she's really enjoying that chair in the first pic. And Lacey loves sitting the the garden, you can tell. You have two cute girls there. Thanks for sharing.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
